  • Spring in to May Days

    As the marvelous month of May moves on, and June jumps in, there are a lot of fun activities to look forward to this week in Palm Beach County!

    In West Palm Beach, it's the first Spring Art Festival this weekend! It will be May 26th through May 28th at 925 North Railroad Avenue. Please contact rb@danieliartworld.com for any further information.

    My movie pick of the week is: The Wedding Plan! A poignant, funny, smart, and unexpected film.

    An interesting exhibit at the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach is Pen to Paper: Artists Hand-Written Letters, from the Smithsonian Archives of American Art. The exhibition is on display through June 5th.

    May is here, and activities are really starting to heat up here in Palm Beach County this week!

    Sunfest is still smoking hot through Sunday, with top musical acts, arts and crafts, delicious munchies, and the most incredible fireworks display ever! Sunday night, not to be missed - come with the whole family.

    One of my most favorite things is The Sound of Music, coming to the Kravis Center for Performing Arts! It opens on May 9th, and you can get your tickets right here. What a wonderful way to spend an evening, singing Do Re Mi....

    On the 13th of May, also at the Kravis Center, is American Tapestry, featuring the young singers of the Palm Beaches. There will be 350 voices, all singing broadway, jazz and pop songs. Not to be missed - a very entertaining evening for all.

    If you are supportive of Palm beach County's brightest youngest stars, you might enjoy going to the Dreyfoos School of the Arts to see one of their outstanding performances. All of May is a combination of spring dance concerts, theater senior showcases, choreography showcases, band concerts, jazz combos...It is just outstanding what these kids do! Click here to peruse the Spring calendar of events.

    On April 3rd it's the final event of the Cultural Council of the Palm Beaches, it's Culture & Cocktails: An interview with Rob Russell and Jill & Rich Switzer. Informative and entertaining!

    Talking about The Colony, one of my favorite crooners is Michael Masci! He tickles the ivories and does his crooning thing at the Polo Lounge every Tuesday through Thursday night during the season. Hop over there, and make sure you don't miss him - he's a treat!

    Just a heads up, but during the construction phase at the Norton Museum, admission is free for all! Can't beat that...It's Deco Japan: Shaping Art & Culture from the 1920s to 1945 at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. What a treat!

  • March is Roaring In Palm Beach

    It's blowing in with a roar this March in Palm Beach County!

    On Friday March 10th, go see Mark Telesca and his band at the Harbourside Place in Jupiter from 6 until 9 PM. What a party!
