A Family Affair this Christmas in Palm Beach

It’s all about family this week of Christmas, here in Palm Beach County.

Go to CityPlace! There’s live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays – you can bring the whole family and enjoy live music and performances. Check cityplace.org for an entertainment schedule.

CityPlace lights up at night.

It’s a Charlie Brown Christmas live at the Kravis Center for Performing Arts! This fabulous, fun evening for the whole family will take place December 23rd. Check their website for times.

A classic story that everyone loves

A fun time indoors or outdoors is the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. Go see Out of the Blue, the latest exhibition featuring Japanese Indigo Textiles. After that, you can enjoy a stroll through the magnificent gardens. This is all in Delray Beach. Visit Morikami.org for more information.

In Palm Beach it’s another family affair at the Flagler Museum! Go there for their afternoon tea, with a variety of brews, cookies and scones.  Their holiday decorations are so beautiful!

For chocolate lovers and people who love and miss the winter weather, go to Hoffman’s Winter Wonderland. It’s so much fun: there’s ice skating, the best chocolates and ice cream, and over 125,000 LED lights on display. There are tons of photo-ops for the kids, with Santa and Mrs. Clause waiting to say hello.

My charity pick of the week is the Food Pantry in Palm Beach County. There are over 97 pantries in West Palm Beach and they could use some donations to help them feed the homeless during this holiday season.

The Food Pantry is always hoping for donations and volunteers.

My Movie Pick of the week is the Greatest Showman starring Hugh Jackman – bring the whole family, I promise it will not disappoint.

The perfect flick to see over the holidays.

So whether you’re hanging out casually with the family or going to a fabulous Christmas Ball, remember, it’s all about style…
