It’s been a wild month of May in South Florida, and Bonnie soaked up the hottest rays with a trip to SunFest in West Palm Beach. “It was like being at Jazz Fest in New Orleans, only a lot more convenient,” said Bonnie, “I took the elevator down to the street and walked one block to the celebration right outside my condo.” As an American Woman she was excited to see live in concert: Lenny Kravitz, Hozier, and Boston before the fireworks finale.
Recently, Bonnie was booked for an Earth Day chat at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, where she presented earthly found treasures during “Clicking In,” with Lani Click. She shared pieces from her BLT Collection made from natural fibers, snakeskin and feathers from our planet that are fun and unique to wear.
Bonnie also attended Executive Women of Palm Beach, a networking event held at Benzaiten, a beautiful center for the creative arts. Benzaiten was converted from an old railroad depot, and is now a gorgeous studio offering classes in glass-blowing. JoAnne Berkow, a highly regarded artist in South Florida, helped jumpstart the initial conversion of the old space to the new center, and Bonnie is continually inspired by her creativity and energy.
Bonnie is usually known for driving thousands of miles to provide her wardrobe consulting, and it was especially nice to have one of her clients, Astrid, drive all the way from Louisiana to see her. She is on a solo journey from New Orleans to Maine for the launch of her new blog Astrid on the Go, and she stopped by to see Bonnie and the new BLT Travel Collection. Since Bonnie has traveled all over the world during her 30-year career, she was able to give Astrid advice and shared with her some great items of clothing and accessories that pack well for a fashionable and fun trip.
