Go to artsynergy.org for a very important auction to support the artists of Palm Beach County. It is taking place on May 29th, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Check that out online for further information.  On May 31st, Ann Hampton Callaway will be having a concert to celebrate her birthday, and Tony DeSare is still doing a song each day on his YouTube channel – so much to enjoy.

Billy Stritch is performing for Billy’s Place, every Thursday night at 8 p.m., live on Facebook. Thesethconcertseries.com is another great live show online featuring Broadway’s biggest stars on Monday, June 1st at 3 p.m.

Jim Caruso is having another Cast Party, Monday nights at 8 p.m. on YouTube – it’s like being in Birdland! Rob Russell will be live at the Pelican Cafe May 31st.  On Friday nights at Cafe Centro, Gregg Jackson is back.

It’s true what they say about that Rocky Mountain High – Colorado makes you feel like you’re on top of the world!Just like many of our recreation-heavy Western states, Colorado boasts beautiful mountains and forests that draw visitors from all over the world. Be sure to enjoy all the lovely hiking trails, such as the Crater Lake Trail and the West Maroon Trail. For those interested in history, Aspen’s Off the Beaten Path Tour might be up your alley. The summer months are exquisite.

While staying in beautiful Aspen, if you’re into shopping, definitely check out the Res Ipsa’s shop. It’s stocked with unique home accents, has a charming style, and focus on traveling in style – just like me!

The shopping continues at the must-see Aspen Saturday Market, where you’ll find artisan produced goods and vegetables all from Colorado.

Speaking of food, while in Aspen, you must spend some time exploring the culinary scene. From delicious wines and cheeses to Western dishes and specialties, the Aspen Chamber put together a guide of all available eateries. Don’t forget to get a ride up to Aspen Mountain on the gondola for that picture-perfect view! You can even catch Bluegrass Sunday, right on Aspen Mountain.

Mid-November Madness in West Palm Beach

There is so much happening here in Palm Beach County this week of November, I don’t know where to begin!

The Rotary Club is having its big opening party at the Paramount Courtyard, check that out through the Rotary Club of the Palm Beaches.  Also, don’t miss X Marks the Spot! It’s a fabulous event featuring graffiti art to be held on the 15th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 on Lake Worth, at the Cultural Council of the Palm Beaches headquarters.

On the 16th, there’s a great party at the Leeds Showroom called “Party with the Pack.” Get your tickets online, and check it out – it’s on Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach. If you’re into theatre, Avery Sommers is going to be directing a play for the first time at the Burt Reynolds Institute – you won’t want to miss it! It’s called Shell of a Man.

I was excited to learn that Deb Silver will be at Voltaire on Saturday the 17th, doing her jazzy, swingin’ numbers, and Rachel Day will be at the Maltz Theatre if you can get a ticket. On the 18th, the Rat Pack’s Swingin’ Sunday Supper will be taking place at the Pelican Cafe! You’ll see all your friends, Dick Robinson and the whole Legends Radio crew! Jill and Rich Switzer will be there too – get your tickets through Eventbrite. Hope to see you there!

On the 19th we have Rob Russell and Michael Masci and Trio at Cafe Centro! It’s going to be a wonderful evening – get your tickets online here.  Irwin Solomon will be performing on the 20th at the Harriet Himmel at 7 o’clock – you have to go online to get those tickets.
