Bonnie’s Birthday Buzz

It’s my birthday week, and I’m buzzing all over Palm Beach County having a wonderful time!



My friend Avery Sommers will be performing at the Sol Theatre through February 3rd – more info right here!

NAMI will be having a special event at the Lily Pulitzer store on 5th Avenue this Thursday, and we’ll have Lilian and Mycol performing Saturday nights at Cafe Centro! Rob Russell and Michael Masci will also be at Cafe Centro on the 21st.

At the Kravis Center, we have Spamelot coming in the main theater, and we have Carole Bufford performing her one woman show this weekend. Also, Catskills on Broadway coming Sunday night to the Kravis.

There are so many other fun events happening in town this time of year. Check out the School of the Arts Foundation – there are a lot of events that the kids are putting on. They have quite a season planned out! On Tuesday nights at Maven restaurant in Palm Beach, there’s Bassa Jazz! There are usually special artists guests, so it’s a lot of fun to see the show!

So whether you’re going to an art gallery opening, or it’s your birthday and you’re hitting the town, remember, it’s all about style!

A Celebrity-Filled February in Palm Beach

It is one amazing event after another here in Palm Beach County this week!

Super Bowl Sunday is coming up, and there’s a Tailgate Party at The Colony Hotel Palm Beach! Contact the Hotel for further information. Sounds like fun for the entire family! There will be BBQ, drinks, live music and games.

Also coming up at The Colony is Dean Martin’s daughter, Deanna Martin, performing over Valentine’s day for a few days! Contact the Colony Hotel for reservations – beautiful singer and beautiful voice.

If you didn’t get a chance to see Michael Feinstein’s first performance of the season at the Kravis conducting the Kravis Pop Orchestra, don’t miss his concert on the 28th of February! Contact the Kravis Center for tickets and enjoy a wonderful evening of guest performers and all kinds of surprises that Michael always brings to town – it’s sure to be a fabulous night!

My movie pick of the week is I, Tonya, the story of Tonya Harding and starring Margot Robbie with Golden Globe winner Allison Janney.

Life is Flowering This April in Palm Beach County

With April showers, there is a lot of activity flowering in Palm Beach County this week.

PLANT-A-PALOOZA 2017 this week at Mount’s Botanical Garden is featuring and an amazing assortment of exotic plants and flowers. The best part is, you can take them home! It’s on Saturday and Sunday April 29th and 30th.

On April 21st from 5 to 8 PM, we have the APBC, Art on Park Gallery in Lake Park. It’s the opening reception for the Still Life 2017 Exhibit featuring artist Barry Seidman.

April 27th brings about the Love Fest 2017, an event at Rocco’s Tacos in Palm Beach Gardens to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Please call for a reservation through Revolution’s Dating. Don’t miss your spot at this Love Fest!

With the season coming to an end, there’s a celebration and it’s the End of the Season Party at Cafe L’Europe with entertainers Philippe Harari and Bobbi Rae! If you want to dance the night away, make your reservation soon or you won’t get a table. It’s going to be a fun night!

For you theater goers out there, if you’re a fan of Neil Simon, it’s They’re Playing Our Song at the Lake Worth playhouse April 15th through the 30th.

If you’re a social butterfly, and have a conscience, you’ll want to go to the Butterfly Ball! It benefit’s The Lord’s Place and St. Ann’s. It’s an exclusive Palm Beach party, and the funds raised go to a wonderful charity.

My movie pick of the week is The Zookeeper’s Wife. It’s a very moving story that takes place in 1939, in Warsaw, Poland.

A personal favorite of mine is seeing my little 13-year-old rising star Ava Faith sing at the Jazz Jam at Double Roads Tavern in Jupiter this Sunday April 23rd from 5 to 9 PM. Not to be missed!
