In my few spare moments during the long, warm days of summer on island, I’m often at the farmer’s market collecting the freshest ingredients. I’ve prepared some of the most delicious meals ever for my friends and loved ones. It’s like my own episode of Food Network’s “Chopped!”
While at an art opening, I ran into Kathleen Hay, a world class interior designer, wearing a BLT mother-of-pearl neck piece she bought from me years ago. She still enjoys her treasures from BLT. It was wonderful to get a chance to see and hear about her many award winning interior design projects.
I caught up with Evelyn Copeland, who was wearing a shrug from my collection and shared that she has worn it often. She finds it handy when there is a chill in the air – lightweight and easy to throw into her purse. To prepare for an upcoming two month journey around the world, Evelyn asked me to help her put together a stylish, comfortable and practical wardrobe, and to pack everything she needs into one suitcase. I am happy to assist clients with their challenges in packing before embarking on a long journey.
